1. Based in the construction department, I have been given the opportunity to expand
on my knowledge in construction. Most of my work in this department consists of
construction and detailed drawings for supermarkets. 2. As well as supermarkets I was also given the opportunity to work with an architect
on a various multi use schemes such as traditional build social club and residential
units, which enabled me to research more in depth into Building Regulations, traditional
materials and construction methods. 3. Working for a client such as Sainsbury*s gave me the chance to work on a variety
of projects from design and building new stores to extensions and refurbishment on a large
scale. 4. The opportunity to work as part of a specialised team gave me insight into how
work is delegated and prioritised to ensure efficiency and quality in work produced.

1. Working in the commercial department enabled me to work on a range of projects
from schools to factories. 2. I have been involved in some planning drawings for industrial units and leisure
units, shop & retail buildings. 3. Also going into more depth and doing construction details such sections and
details etc. 4. As a result of working on construction packages I have a good understanding of the
current building regulations.
