Performed a review of Third Party Labour Arrangements at CenITex (Information and Communications Technology (ICT) shared services agency, set up as a State Body by the Victorian Government to centralise ICT support to government departments and agencies). The purpose of the review was to deliver a clearly articulated strategy and framework that provided guidance and a process for engagement of contract/agency or vendor resources.

Successfully completed the following projects: • rollout to some 480 users of the Oscar Systems being converted from a Unisys to a HDS mainframe (Rollout Manager).
• outsourcing of Gas Mains maintenance by the Gas & Fuel (I.T. Project Manager).
• Windows NT/Windows 95 rollout to 350 users (Business Project Manager).
• 4 Office and Staff Relocations involving over 300 people in total (Business Project Manager)

Successfully coordinated a program of Business Process Improvement initiatives for the newly formed retail company born out of the disaggregation of the Gas & Fuel Corporation of Victoria.

Successfully enhanced the Year 2000 Program by providing: • Management Services
• Methodology Development (including Certification, Business Continuity Planning & Compliance Testing and Environment Setup)

Successfully set up a Program Management Reporting process for the IT Department. Key deliverables were:
• identifying and confirming all approved IT projects.
• developing a process for receiving and approving project requests
• developing and implementing a program reporting process
• developing a program progress review process

Trevor prepared and generated agreement on the Program Charter for the implementation of GST into the 35 GE businesses operating in Australia & New Zealand. Trevor was retained as Program Management Consultant providing guidance and services to the GE GST Program Leader for the duration of the GST Implementation until it’s successful completion on time and under budget. Key driving responsibilities were:
• Mentoring the GST Program Leader
• Designing and implementing the appropriate Program Management structure and processes for the GST Implementation
• Setting up and providing GST Program Reporting for the GE Business Stakeholders
• Setting up and maintaining issue and risk management control and Traffic Light Reporting across 35 business • Implementing the GST Program’s budget framework

• Advising the GST Program Leader and team members on project issues.

Trevor successfully developed a rapid delivery methodology for the implementation of IT Infrastructure projects and oversaw it's effective implementation.

Trevor was appointed as interim IT Service Delivery Manager whilst the company went through an exhaustive process to select and appoint a full time employee to the position. The role included responsibility for:
• IT Helpdesk Operations
• Desktop Support Operations
• IT Relationship Management with GECF’s major client Coles Myer A number of service delivery improvements were made whilst in the position and the key relationship with Coles Myer was repaired and returned to an effective working relationship and footing.

Successfully managed the implementation of Kronos payroll software at multiple Adecco client sites Australia wide as front ends to the Adecco client payroll system - this included specifically tailored customization at Smorgon Steel, Laverton, Victoria. A key achievement of this role was to ensure the Adecco relationship with their major client Smorgon was not impacted by the implementation of the software and was retained as a customer.

Provided program management services for the successful integration of AGC Financial Services into GE Consumer Finance where all integration milestones were met on time and under budget. Trevor was a key member of the Acquisition and Integration Program Office prior to the actual acquisition date and was retained through the first 100 days “soft” integration activities and the subsequent non IT integration activities. Trevor played an integral role:
• in designing and implementing the appropriate Program Management structure and processes for the Integration
• setting up and running the Integration Program Reporting for the GE Integration Steering Committee of which he was also a member
• setting up and maintaining issue and risk management control and Traffic Light Reporting across 3 major business areas and 15 functions

Business Project Manager for the successful launch on time and under budget in October 2003 of the Coles Myer Ltd Source MasterCard. Responsibilities of particular importance during the period to launch and then for Phase 1 of the follow up program included:
• Program reporting to both the GE Internal and GE/Coles Myer Steering Committee’s • Relationship management with Coles Myer
• Management of Requirements Definition phase
• Management of all non-IT related projects
• Management of all Business and IT interface activities
• Project Management of 3rd Party deliverables

Successfully managed the implementation of several Business Objects front end applications accessing Data Marts on a Terradata based Enterprise Data Warehouse in the Telstra Enterprise Data Warehouse Solution Centre. The role involved the pro-active management of an outsourced solution provider and internal IT and Business Telstra resources through all phases - Solution Definition, Statement of Work, Build & Acquire, Solution Implementation as well as handover to ongoing Production Support & Maintenance. Of particular importance was the implementation of the Spider Reporting suite which required careful management and engagement of a reluctant user group.

Trevor successfully set up the Review Administrator function for the Director of Risk Management and Assurance. This involved the development of processes and tools for the function including the implementation of the Retain Resource Allocation software system. The processes and tools were set up in the context of the role of the Review Administrator, namely: • to record, monitor and report progress on all RM&A Review activities both internally (to the Director and his Leadership team) as well as externally (via reports to the Audit Committee).

• Facilitating initiative reporting out regularly and quantitatively
• Identifying interdependencies across initiatives within the portfolio and the CS&S Program of Work
• Quality checking for initiative business case robustness

Successfully implemented the 1st Phase of SAP Plant Maintenance within the Altona Manufacturing Plant. This involved the preparation and approval of the Business Case followed by completion of the Blueprint and Realization phases. It encompassed the normal project management of scope, risk, issues and financials as well as the participation of IT & Business personnel and interfaces with the Project Steering Committee. This was also the pilot project for the implementation of Oracle Primavera as the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solution for Toyota's IT Department. Trevor provided advice and guidance during the implementation.

The provision of guidance for, and assistance in the establishment and ongoing support of the CSM Program Management Office function, its operations and artefacts in order to meet CSM PMO objectives.

Project managed the successful training of over 13000 personnel covering Curriculum Development, Training Deployment Planning & Execution, Learn Achieve (Telstra's Learning Management System) Program Design and Execution, Scheduling and Reporting Design and Execution.

Successful review of a Business Outsourcing Contract for a State Regulatory Body and implementation of the recommendations. Development and acceptance of a Whole of System Business Requirements for a Mortgage Lender and an FBT System for a State Government Department. Conducted a Process Review of Financial Month End for a State Government Department with acceptance of the recommendations that were internally implemented.
