Substructure was contracted by Stauch Vorster Architects (Dbn) (pty) ltd to initially design and manage the internal team for the Bahrain International Convention Centre proposal. Several projects in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Dubai followed in collaboration with BURO HAPPOLD engineers, notably the Dubai Pearl Project proposal, which was taken through the design development stage.
