My first job out of college was a manager trainee at the old Foot Locker in Orland Park. From Orland Park, work took me to the FLO(Foot Locker Outlet) in Palos Heights. From Palos Heights, I went to the original Foot Locker in Oak Brook Mall. Out store was the top store in all of Foot Locker in many sales categories and this is where my nick-name was re-started from when I was a kid, "Tommy Gunn." After Oak Brook, I went to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg(1994). At this time, I decided to take a position at Harrah's Joliet Casino in the Credit/V.I.P. Department. I was recruited to and stated back with Foot Locker in late July of 1997 in Skokie at Old Orchard Mall. From Old Orchard, I moved to the H.I.P.(Harlem and Irving Plaza in Norridge). From the H.I.P., I went back to Oak Brook where I was part of the management team for Foot Locker's brand new 3-Million Dollar concept store. From Oak Brook, I went to the Fox Valley Mall in Aurora. In February of 1998, I moved to Rockford and to the Cherryvale Mall AXP. After righting the ship and winning more awards, my career path took me to the Charlestown Mall in St. Charles and two stores, the AXP upstairs and Foot Locker downstairs. From St. Charles, Danada Square in Wheaton came calling and after winning even more awards, the original FLO in Gurnee Mills was my final store. In December 2000, I accepted a position at Next Media Radio Group in Joliet and came full circle to a position that I applied for in the summer of 1991 after graduating from the University of St. Francis.
