A longtime AIDS survivor who has reached midlife somewhat bewildered but grateful and determined to see Old Age. The good news is that you can live longer with HIV; the bad news is years of living with the virus and taking meds takes it toll. We age prematurely. 50 is new 60! This is the focus of my new advocacy. I've appeared on NBC Nightly News, ABC News 20/20, Fresh Aire by Terry Gross as well as the BBC and Channel 4. I've also been profiled in People, Newsweek, The New Yorker.

Co-wrote and co-produced the autobiographical screenplay for The Night Listener, a feature film sold at Sundance 06. It was released by Miramax and IFC Films. I also served in a producer/creative consultant for Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City, More Tales of the City, and Further Tales of the City miniseries.
