About
I have worked in Web Design since 2003 since graduating with a HND in Multimedia working for many different companies such as Vodafone, EHS Brann, Duke Interactive and Virgin.
Since 2006 I began working on developing Bread and Buddha as a sole trader. Good word of mouth enabled me to grow my client base and then in August 2008 we became 'Bread and Buddha LTD.
We now have many clients including Ruby Wax and Maggie Eyre, a renowned public speaking coach from New Zealand who previously coached the prime minister of New Zealand.
My main passion is helping people with social anxiety, I have set up my social enterprise, Leading Light to give support and affordable help to sufferers. I used to suffer with it myself so I have deep empathy for people who feel this way.
I am a student of the school for social entrepreneurs.

Freelance Role (for EHS Brann) The project involved uploading the sales portal of the Vodafone Intranet. I found the role rewarding as I learned a new skill in the process. I had to liaise with the marketing manager at Vodafone as well as the project manager from Euro RSCG (EHS Brann). This included writing detailed daily progress reports to the project manager and discussing progress via phone.

In my role as a Branch Helpdesk Advisor I had to deal with very tight deadlines as we have to diagnose most of the IT problems that occur for LTSB Branch employees. We often received call volumes of 60 calls per day which involved solving problems such as a password reset to fully configuring 4 printers and adding them to the Branch network using remote access.

The principles that underly our programmes are: - practitioner-led
- peer support - practical (or action) learning
- personalisation "Social entrepreneurs are exceptional people. They have a great idea for making their community better places for those who live in them. They have the vision, drive, commitment and determination to change their local communities through practical local action. They are skilled at spotting and re-using underused and abandoned resources such as buildings, equipment and open spaces. Their work often reaches parts of society other policy initiatives do not touch. They are skilled at encouraging local people to get involved. Social entrepreneurs do this for the public good. Since 1997, the SSE has offered a year-long learning programme of action learning tailored to these characteristics. Our programmes are built on learning by doing, an approach that emphasises experience, experimentation and personal needs, and our students have ranged in age from twenty to seventy; from twelve years’ unemployment to running a community organisation full-time."
