About
As a scientist, the following achievements were made in the area of Biochemistry and Biotechnology:
*The elucidation of new glycogen and starch degradation pathway, which I called it "the Anhydrofructose Pathway". For more details just google it.
* Discovery of 5 new enzymes and one known enzyme with a new catalysis function, and named them:
。 apha-1,4-Glucan lyase (EC 4. 2.2. 13);
2。 Aldos-2-ulose dehydratase (EC 4. 2.1.110);
3。 1,5-Anhydro-D-fructose dehydratase (EC 4.2.1. 111);
4。 Ascopyrone tautomerase (EC 5.3.3.15);
5。 1,5-Anhydro-D-fructose reductase (EC 1.1.1.292).
6。 Amidohydrolase (EC 3-.-.-.-)
All these including the pathway have been accepted by IUBMB (International Unionof Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) (http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/iubmb/enzyme/reaction/polysacc/anhydrofruc.html)
* Deposited 8 DNA and 8 new enzyme sequences in Genbank database
*30 patent inventions
