Co-Owners and artists Sandra and Walter Moses are the creative force behind Ablaze MetalArt & Design. Sandra uses her inspiration and inherent artistic ability to create this fine art in beautiful, distinctive designs upon which Walter works his magic. Walter brings over 38 years of experience working with steel. He has combined his experience and artistic ability to the cutting and finishing of these unique hand-crafted pieces out of mostly steel and aluminium. Sandra is Coast Salish heritage from the Hwilitsum band in Ladner, BC and Walter is Delaware heritage originally from the Six Nations in Southern Ontario. Native art is part of their extensive repertoire. The designs in this facet of their metal artwork reflect Sandra’s First Nation's West Coast origins: Whale, Raven and Frog among others.
