Vos Mechanical bv, één van de twee divisies van Vos Industrial Group bv, met het hoofdkantoor in Schoonebeek, heeft momenteel vier vestigingen, waaronder Vos Mechanical Rotterdam. Verwater bv heeft een grote werkvoorraad, heeft veel werken EPC aangenomen en heeft een grote behoefte om haar werktuigbouwkundige capaciteit stevig uit te breiden en verder te professionaliseren. Verwater heeft de wens om ook het leidingwerk in belangrijke mate in eigen beheer uit te voeren. Zij heeft daartoe spontaan Vos Industrial benaderd en een vergaand voorstel gedaan voor de overname van haar vestiging in Rotterdam, hetgeen inmiddels geleid heeft tot een overnameakkoord welke met terugwerkende kracht per 4 oktober 2009 zal ingaan. De functies van alle medewerkers blijven behouden, alle activiteiten vanuit onze vestiging in Rotterdam worden voortgezet, nu onder verantwoordelijkheid van Verwater bv. Er zijn afspraken gemaakt om te waarborgen dat voor alle klanten van Vos Mechanical Rotterdam deze werkzaamheden in letter en spirit worden voortgezet zoals u van ons bent gewend en de betreffende lopende projecten dienovereenkomstig worden afgerond.

Sinds maart werk ik voor Cofely bij Shell Pernis aan de Catcracker Pre-TA en TA. Eind augustus, moet de werkvoorbereiding klaar zijn.
De Pre-turnaround is bezig. De Afstelling zelf gebeurd in februari. Ik hoorde dat er bij Shell in heel de wereld nog geen TA van een cracker met voldoening werd afgerond. Misschien lukt het met de combinatie: Jacobs, Cofely. Werkvoorbereider Shell-Pernis CC2-GP3 TA2010.
Iso’s na plaatsbezoek inbrengen in PDMS-Spooler. Prijscalculatie in Cleopatra. Opvolging van materiaal en supporting, Documentcontrole, Technische vragen in Excell. Werkmappen in RoserSystem opmaken voor afbraak, fabricatie, schilderen, montage (stelling, kranen), inspectie en testen. In september ben ik beschikbaar voor nieuwe taken in de onderhoud en nieuwbouwprojecten.

Ik ben sinds 27 oktober terug aan de slag bij Real Corporation. Voor deze constructeur was ik 5 jaar geleden project- en veiligheidsingenieur voor het slopen en vernieuwen van de verbrande constructie J71 bij Total Raffinaderij Antwerpen. Nu ben ik als assistent werfleider ingezet voor de opvolging van het Molybdeen-Roostgebouw bij SADACI in Gent Zeehaven. Een groot project van 600 ton staal en een bedrag van 1.7 mi EUR. Een nieuwe uitdaging na een intense inzet eerder dit jaar als offertecalculator bij Imtech IS voor de aanlegsteiger en koelwaterhuis bij Shell Pernis op basis van Rewin UR’s,
bij Vofatec in Heusden Brabant voor de piping van grote koelhuizen, afvalwaterzuiveringen en tankparken in Amsterdam en bij Cofely bij Shell met Roser- en PDMS-software. Het is gedacht tot maart 2011.

Voor BASF Antwerpen Onderhoudsafdeling Vacuüm, druk- en temperatuurverhoging van drukapparatuur voor Revamp MDI-installatie.
