I direct the Revenue Recovery Medicare Billing and Collections for Home Health patients. I ensure that company billing practices adhere to CMS regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. I work with Accounting, Internal Audit, and Operations to monitor productivity and cash flow, maximize revenue, increase cash collections and decrease DSO. My strengths lie in my abilities to realize improvement strategies for Revenue Recovery by analyzing financials to maintain targeted metrics, and identify any opportunities. I support the transition of billing and collections to maintain growth through acquisitions for Amedisys.

• Coordinate all Clinical Improvement meetings for 2-3 offsite meetings on average a year, such as the Pharmacy Annual Conference, Physician Leadership Workshops, and CNO regional workshops. • Coordinate regional Clinical Improvement meetings in office 6 a year with material preparation, IS/AV setup, twiv interaction for members
• Coordinate for Clinical Improvement webinar/conference calls for multi-regions
• Responsible for Clinical Improvement reports on JCAHO activities, such as mock survey reports and consolidation of RFI’s, and regional meetings and workshops for Clinical Improvement • Coordinate JCAHO Responsible for the Value Reporting activities for Clinical Improvement, such as consolidated participation reports, meeting materials, and appointments. • Responsible for specialty surveys and reports for Clinical Improvement such as the Board Planning Survey for Performance/Clinical Improvement, Rapid Response Team database project for Clinical Improvement monthly report

• Assist in Business Development Projects such as regional contracts, and Committed Insurance Program (CIP) • Benefit plan design and rate analysis, RFP development and response review, carrier negotiations, stewardship report preparation, benchmark analysis, client financial analysis and reporting and carrier contract reviews.
• VHA Gulf States member liaison for Gulf States Insurance Services as Coordinator/Producer(GSIS)

The Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum is a private, not-for-profit organization. Our volunteer board represents a cross section of public and private insurance purchasers, patient advocates, providers, physicians and insurers in the state. Dozens of other stakeholders volunteer their time in committees that focus on health information technology, quality measurement, medical homes and outreach and education.
