Worked with Group of Home Textile Companies M/S Feroze Textile Industries incorporated with M/S 1888 Mills USA (Terry towels and Terry made ups), in the following Departments From May-1997 to May 2001 Research & Development Department Worked as Senior Merchandiser (Assistant Manager) in Research and Development (Product Development) department. Duties Included • Interacting with Buyer to produce required samples (as per buyer specification) and new samples and run production thereon. • Analysis the requirements of samples i.e. Count, Reed, Picks, GSM etc. etc.
• Communicate all necessary correspondence regarding sampling and Production with buyer.
• Calculate the requirement of yarn / fibers for the samples/ Production and manage spec sheet for required length of beam, in case of bathrobe, calculate the requirement of fabric for one piece and provide spec sheet thereon. • Arrange all necessary trim and accessories for samples required by buyer and get approval thereon.
• Arrange weaving, dyeing, finishing and grading of samples/ Production and follow up to final shipments.
• Get approval from buyer on samples and keep the record to match the production accordingly and approve the production with Quality Assurance Department.
• Prepare and send lab dips and get approval thereon from buyer and track the implementation of said color along with quality assurance in production and keep the record of production recipe to compare cost.
