Mrs. Al-Suwaidi has over 30 years of experience in investment and finance. Mrs. Al-Suwaidi first headed the Bonds Section in the Investment Department at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance. From there, she joined the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), where she served in various managerial positions up to Chief Investment Manager in the Debt Management Department. She played a key role at KIA’s overall level, as Director of the Strategy and Planning Department, where she made an effective contribution to the restructuring of KIA’s investment strategy. She was also Chairman of Board of Directors of the Kuwait Small Projects Enterprise. Lately, Mrs. Al-Suwaidi joined the Arab Investment Company in the capacity of Board Member and Corporate Advisor. Mrs. Al-Suwaidi has been on the Board of Directors of several private and public institutions, such as the National Investments Company and the Industrial Bank of Kuwait. She is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences in the State of Kuwait.
