Oversee treasury operations of the group to optimize the cash utilization in the operations with focus to minimize the interest cost through liquidity management; Balance Sheet cleanup for the Group Companies to improve compliances & credit rating; Monitor the forex market operations continuously to hedge against any volatility through forward contracts; Minimize the cost of funding imported raw materials through buyers / suppliers credit mechanism at internationally competitive LIBOR based rates; Commercially evaluate import transactions under UCPDC guidelines to minimize transaction costs; Ensure IFRS compliances for all group operating companies and structure transactions proactively to improve net worth; Tax planning with regard to both direct & indirect taxes through utilization of available tax credits & minimize tax outgo; Design management information system & procedures to build robust key financial & business information to help management take timely action to improve overall business performance; Monitor cash flow operations of all operating companies continuously & work on collection terms from Debtors & payment terms with vendors to efficiently manage working capital with minimal dependence on bank borrowing

Manage Treasury operations & cash management system for the Power SBU; Handle Raw Material sourcing for both HT & LT business at most competitive terms under tight liquidity situation; Provide advice for Demerger & Restructuring plan for the data communication cable laying business under RPG Telenet Solutions SBU as a part of RPG Group synergy mapping exercise; Complete the Corporate Tax assessment with refund under both direct & indirect taxes & comply with statutory requirements of the two factories; Prepare the business plan on long ,medium & short term for the Power cable business segment and provide an alternative to ERP by bridging various independent operating modules; Manage the completion of Accounts, audit and Management Information system (MIS) including Costing for the Power Cable business.

Oversee the commercial & financial aspects of the Rs 3600 Cr EPC arm of Essar Group, a large business conglomerate in India. The scope of work includes arranging Project purchases, construction equipment finance globally at the most competitive terms apart from strategic business planning, MIS, SAP based Indian GAAP accounting & auditing and migration to IFRS, strategize business transactions including modifications to the Contracts including Contract administration to optimize returns in the Contracts & minimize avoidable tax outgoes. Project commercial evaluation from bidding stage to negotiation during execution stage including tying up Project funding both in India & overseas.

Oversee the global consolidation of Accounts of JSWEL Group (the Power arm of JSW Segment of O P Jindal Group, a large private business group in India with group annual turnover exceeding US$ 6 Billion) including its domestic & overseas subsidiaries, arrange quarterly limited review by the Statutory Auditors, publication of quarterly results under SEBI listing requirement, Taxation (both Direct & Indirect), MIS & Compliance Reports, Budgeting, Risk Management & Internal Audit reporting, Oracle implementation across the group comprising 8 subsidiaries, associates & JVs and transition from I GAAP to IFRS with effect from 1st April,2011. Also responsible for monthly billing under regulatory provisions & guidelines, structuring of contracts to minimize the incidence of duties & taxes, financial evaluation of various bids in the thermal, renewable energy segment.
