Practiced primarily in the areas of family, property and federal criminal prosecution.
Carried primary responsibility for Department of Fisheries and Oceans Fishery Act
prosecutions; developed expertise in family law negotiations, as well as managing a
senior partners property practice.

Acted in the position as Chairperson of the Labour Relations Board, which is a ten-
member quasi-judicial tribunal, empowered to adjudicate matters under the jurisdiction
of the Labour Act. An integral working knowledge of the Labour Act and ancillary
legislation and procedure was essential.

Maintained a general private practice and performed the role of Managing Partner
responsible for the administration of a three-member law firm.

HRA operates on a team model to provide consulting service to employers including:
facilitating Employer education sessions; labour relations consulting; day-to-day
contract interpretation and Administration; facilitating the employers bargaining team
and acting as Chief Spokesperson for employers in the collective bargaining process;
representing employers in disputes; consulting re: performance management and
disciplinary matters; workplace disputes; compensation and benefit plans; and other
related management consulting.
