As a Regional Sales Director at Marketron my responsibilities include strategic selling to our largest customer accounts. Marketron has gone from a stand alone traffic software company to a totally integrated digital software provider. Marketron has an open architecture platform that enables third party applications which help to drive revenue and increase operational efficiencies for the media industry. In many ways, it reminds me of MCI during the days of divestiture when the industry was opening itself up to innovative technologies, strategic marketing with a focus on client services.
My prior experience, I spent the better part of 15 years in Sales positions largely in the Telecommunication field. It was an exciting time as we were on the forefront of divestiture and many technical advances were occurring in the Telecom field. I worked on several National Accounts that included United Airlines, Household Finance, Wrigley, Tribune, Quaker Oats and more.
