I served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years and a majority of it was spent as a Senior Recruiter and Career Counselor. I separated in 2001 and started working directly for a start-up Staffing Agency in Boston working as an Executive Recruiter for Accounting and Finance candidates. I then moved on to two other Staffing Firms, working as a Senior Technical Recruiter. I placed a variety of candidates into temporary and permanent positions in several industries for companies such as: Mass General Hospital, Kayem Foods, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Raytheon, General Dynamics, National Grid, Suffolk Construction, Sepracor, Lucent, Hasbro, Genzyme, Biogen, Abbott Labs, Gillette and Amgen just to name a few. After over 5 years with these firms, I moved on to the Corporate Recruiting side as a Senior Recruiter staffing various level candidates for the past 5 years. I have worked directly for: American Power Conversion Corporation, Adidas/Reebok International, Shawmut Construction, Nuance Communications, Aspen Technology and Millipore Corporation. I have currently been providing consulting services, maintaining a role as a Senior Recruiter. My professional training includes: Advanced Behavioral Interviewing, Resume Creation/Analysis, Career Advisement and Planning, Human Resources Process Improvement, Organizational Change Management, Presentation and Selling Skills, Salary Negotiations and Social Media/Networking. This business was started with the sole intention of providing a reasonably priced service to job seekers in need of a better search strategy.
