-Reporting to CFO I am responsible of finance planning department. With 4 direct reports
-Development of Company plans prepared jointly with sales and marketing departments: ensuring Business plans coherence, consistence and alignment with the overall business strategy. Jointly with CFO I present plan to the local and European board for approval.
-On 3 years basis, I am responsible, jointly with marketing and sales, to develop strategic plan for the following 4/5 years. Plan is then presented and agreed with Central European team, to ensure overall business sustainability and alignment with PepsiCo strategy
-Responsible of Customer profitability process and promotional expenses evaluation analysis -Monitoring Business performance: checking coherence to Business plan (variance analysis, what if)
-Evaluation of ad hoc project: innovation, product launch, new business start up plan (Acqua Eva)

Monthly and quarterly reporting activity co-ordination
-Financial Accounting support for reconciliation between Management Accounting and Financial Result
-Consolidation of reports for European Business Group
-Trade Marketing and Sales support: customer and product profitability analysis
-Key user, responsible for F&C Esap (European Sap) implementation
-Co-ordination of a 5-people team

-Supporting Business operations: team work member within the Home Care business teams, opportunities and risks evaluation, economic/financial assessment of proposed actions
-Development of the Company plans (both operatives and officials): ensuring Business plans coherence, consistence and alignment with the overall business strategy
-Monitoring Business performance: checking coherence to Business plan (variance analysis, what if)
-Evaluation of ad hoc project: innovation, product launch, brand disposal (Vim, Bio Presto)
-Definition and implementation of ad hoc analysis: Customer profitability and promotional expenses evaluation exercise

-Providing reassurance that all major business risks affecting the achievement of Unilever’s strategic objectives are adequately managed
-Understanding and reassurance of the efficiency and effectiveness of audited units, focussing on operational controls by business process (Accounting & Reporting, Supply Chain, Sales)
-Providing reassurance about the integrity, accuracy, reliability and consistency of reported results
-Audit team leader, co-ordinating the auditors during the fieldwork, sharing and reporting the main findings and Audit opinions to the Audit Manager and to the Company Management

-Supporting Supply Chain function in the definition of sourcing strategy in the long term plans (3/4 years)
-Defining the long term Gross Margin target including assumption on price/mix and cost effect for Home and Personal Care Category
-Consolidation and analysis of restructuring projects
-Supporting Category Supply Chain analysing key investments (Make or Buy, Outsourcing, Restructuring)
-Reporting and analysis of Capital Expenditure
-Budget Control (Overheads and bought in Cost) for Supply Chain Category Team

-Responsible for US Gaap & Statutory reporting. -In charge of monthly, quarterly and annual closure process, including variance analysis vs plan.
-In Charge of Sarbox compliance process
-Responsible for treasury & fiscal area
-Key contact point dealing with external auditors
-Responsible for account payable and accounts receivables teams, including customer service area.
-7 direct reports responsible for 3 teams (Reporting, Treasury and Fiscal team, Acc. Payable team, Acc. Receivables & Customer service team) for a total of 16 people.
-Direct report to CFO and dotted line to European Controller
