I am responsible for compiling construction cost estimates for corrections projects throughout the eastern United States. My duties include acquiring project documents, bid bonds, attending pre-bid meetings, performing takeoffs, solicit quotes from vendors/sub-contractors, organizing project data and documents in an orderly fashion for presentation to management prior to the bid.

Working with B&G I must say has been one of the greatest work experiences of my life, B&G is a fantastic company that promotes a great work environment. The majority of my time at B&G was spent on healthcare facilities throughout Central and South Florida. On occasion there were office buildings, tenant build-outs, and condominiums that I got to participate in as well. Including a 3 month assignment in Richmond, VA completing a condominium project on the James River. I was responsible for the installation of doors and hardware, under the guidance of Dan Pitisci the Door Crew supervisor. In 2004 I was placed at Mease Countryside Hospital to run the doors there. I was responsible for training and supervising my own crew, and communicating to and working with the superintendent, project managers, owners, and other tradesmen.

I was responsible for producing sales from multiple streams, walk-in business, phone sales, private bids, and public bids. I maintained a high level of repeat business from an existing client base as well as producing new clients. Logistical planning in shipping product to meet the clients needs and project schedule. I would also invoice accounts for billing, assist in purchasing, I took an active role in estimating for bid work, and compiled submittals for contractors.
