John is a lover of nature and animals has a passion for all things made by hand. Loves to draw and paint anything especially portraits and painting from life. Lived in Atlanta area for the past 37 years now lives in the mountains of north Ga. In Ellijay. He has two great sons Michael and Billy and a little cat named Whiskers. Native of the mountains of Virginia son and grand son of coal miners. John has many hobby's Architecture and Old buildings and old movies and is a collector of Stuff. He loves trivia and to tell stories and the art of Story Telling.

Awards / Honors
John as a Producing Artistic Director, has produced over 340 live stage productions in a 18 year span, as well as producing 5 world premiers and 4 Georgia premiers. He has dirrcted over 150 plays and has won numerous awards in the arts. His theaters was nominated over 30 times with 8 wins of the Metro Atlanta MAY Awards for theater excellence.
As a Artist and Teacher, John has had experience with almost all of arts mediums and loves to descover young talent in youth. As a youth as young as 6 years old John found a passion for the arts ever sense he never stopped creating.
