General Manager, MILITARY CIRCLE MALL, Norfolk, VA - Directed the management, temp/specialty leasing, operations, engineering, maintenance, tenant improvements (TI), security, housekeeping, and tenant relations for a 100-store, 1,000,000 sq. ft. super-regional shopping mall anchored by Macy’s, JCPenney, Sears, Ross & Cinemark 18 Theaters with a staff of 40. Included the duties of operations management, including central plant and maintenance of all mall systems, contract bidding to insure the best prices for vendor services, construction management with regard to tenant build-outs, and acted as tenant-coordinator for new tenants beginning with lease execution through store opening. Insured compliance with all governmental agency regulations such as OSHA, EPA, etc. Authored a property operating manual for use at all company-owned properties.
