Started in the real estate business in 1977 as an agent. Transitioned into management in1981 for a small firm. Was later hired as Sales Manager for Century 21 Parkway Realty in South Minneapolis. Later became an owner and subsequently sold the firm to TCF Bank in 1987. In 1989 was hired as a Management consultant for Coldwell Banker and transferred to Louisville Ky. As management consultant worked with different sized firms to best utilize the Coldwell Banker system. Participated in the transition and mergers of local company owned Coldwell Banker operations with another local firm resulting in a franchised Coldwell Banker operation. Later became Executive Vice President and then President of Coldwell Banker The Homestore, an eight office 350 operation in Louisville, KY.
