Friends of Tafo is a UK registered charity that aims to empower as well as help the people of Kwahu-Tafo in Ghana.
In October 2010 I worked with the community to develop a microcredit project suitable to their needs, employed and trained 2 local staff members, and worked with peer groups of women delivering business advice, support and training. In Cycle 1 we are working with 50 women to enable them to develop business and create their own incomes to establish solid new futures for themselves and their families.
