The Doing Good Network is a for profit, "social enterprise" venture being organized as a "benefit corporation" a new legal entity designed for "social entrepreneurs". Our mission is simple but of global importance.

To leave the world a better place for future generations Our initial areas of focus: 1) injured veterans 2) special needs kids 3) victims of natural disasters 4) abused and abandoned animals 5) children with cancer 6) the homeless and the hungry. Founded in 1967 on Hillsborough Street, in Raleigh. Club is now Mitch's Tavern. Was used as the team hangout in the movie "Bull Durham".
Opened Atlantic Beach location in May 1971 and quickly became the leading shag club in NC. Voted into "Shag Club" Hall of Fame in 1998. In June 2010, held 43 year Jolly Knave reunion & cancer benefit with sellout crowd raising more than $8,000 for prostate and breast cancer research.
