Conducted the start-up activities and managed SMART ENERJİ A.Ş. together with experienced retired managers of Siemens, in order to provide the know-how, products, services and solutions, that will be needed in the market to be formed with the privatization of energy distribution companies, as well as in the fields of Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Automation and Energy Management. Based on the technical background and know-how of Transmission, Distribution and “Organised Industry Zones” solutions, signed Technical Consultancy Agreements. Attended international projects management team as a long-term delegate. Coordinated the front-end design, detailed engineering, manufacturing scheduling and logistics of MV and LV motors of a multi-national project with a volume of 80 mio €.

Managed over 10 mio € turnkey projects of TEİAŞ (Turkish Electricity Transmission Company). Managed 3 mio € contract of high voltage substation of ENTEK Bursa Cogeneration Plant of KOÇ Holding. Created and implemented the systematic project management system for large scale projects.

Reported to CEO of Energy in East Mediterranean Cluster. Being the spokesman of Siemens Turkey in Distribution Privatisation Sector, managed the business relations with EMRA, Privatisation Agency, Ministry of Energy, TEİAŞ, TEDAŞ and all utilities. Established and managed the Business unit of Value Added Asset Services as well as Centre of Competence Network Consulting teams of 15 experts in power engineering systems, serving to whole EMEA region. Achieved an additional 10 mio € revenue in high-end engineering services and consulting business. Key successes: • Signed the first full-scale Technical Due Diligence Contract of Siemens as the technical consultant to SABANCI HOLDING – ENERJİSA, prior to the first privatisation tender of Distribution Regions in 2007. • Managed the acquisition process of Kızılırmak A.Ş. in 2000-2001 on behalf of Siemens Turkey.
