I trained as family doctor and have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacology and a Master's degree in nutrition. For the last 15 years, I have been working at the crossroads of mental health and workplace wellness. Currently, I am located in West Vancouver, working in a group practice where I provide an integrated, patient-centered approach to people with mental health and addiction challenges. As well, I conduct research and teach medical and nursing students. My long term goal is to build my consulting and public speaking practice in the area of 'mental health and addiction in the workplace'.

I have worked as a Family Physician for 15 years. It has been very satisfying to participate in the care of newborns, children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. As I have recently restricted my work to the area of mental health and addictions, I have closed the Family Practice chapter of my life, but will always look back on it with great fondness.
