Working in partnership to develop a stronger, more effective sub region, supporting collaboration across the public sector including interim support to the Local Enterprise Partnership and management of legacy Improvement and Efficiency projects.

Part of the team leading the redevelopment of Liverpool's high rise tower blocks with a mix of demolition, refurbishment and new build solutions. resident involvement was a element of the role and a key factor for success in achieving sustainable long term housing solutions

Main responsibilities within the Group’s Development Department were as follows: -  Programme Management of the Group’s capital development programme (approx £45m per year)
 Management of a team of four Project Managers in the delivery of a range of new build and refurbishment housing and regeneration projects
 Managing relationships with a range of consultants and contractors as part of the Group’s partnering framework including negotiation and letting of contracts
 Provision of regular management information and reporting of programme performance against targets (including capital and revenue budgets)
 Cashflow management
 Liaison with RSL and Local Authority partners plus internal and external clients, residents and stakeholders
 Departmental responsibility for Risk, Health & Safety, and Equality & Diversity
 Policy and Procedure development (requiring an up to date knowledge of key national and local policies and strategies)

Working across Warrington, East and West Cheshire and Chester in support of the efficiency and improvement agenda in the sub region. Based within the People and Improvement Directorate of Warrington Borough Council (our accountable body) supporting a number of networks and projects aimed at improving service delivery and increasing collaboration across the public sector.
