1) Close work with the state bodies including the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Taxes; 2) Provision economic and commercial interests of the Bank via decisions made by local courts (except problem loan cases);
3) Preparing and legal review of internal rules and procedures; 4) Legal review of internal orders, instructions and protocols;
5) Drafting new standard forms of contracts and legal review of the contracts including agreements with international financial organizations, funds and companies;
6) Close work with local branches of the bank and solving any legal issues uprising herein. Note: Being one of the first commercial banks of Azerbaijan, Damir Bank (formerly Azerdamiryolbank) was established in 1989. Presently, its shareholders include the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and FMO (Netherlands Finance Development Company). The bank has 30 branches and sub-branches.

3) Preparing and legal review internal rules and procedures related to deposit insurance with close cooperation of KfW and GBDS consultants; 4) Legal review of internal orders, instructions and protocols of the Board of Trustees;
5) Legal review of the contracts including agreements with international financial organizations, funds and companies. Note: Deposit Insurance Fund assists depositor who invested their funds into local banks. In cooperation with KfW Development Bank (Germany) and GBDS (Global Banking Development Solutions, Germany) the Deposit Insurance Fund works toward improving the deposit insurance system in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
